At Moon Bike, we stand behind the quality and performance of every e-bike and mountain bike we sell. Whether you're a city commuter or a mountain trail enthusiast, your ride deserves to be reliable, safe, and supported.

This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, duration, and conditions for warranty claims on products purchased from Moon Bike.


1. General Warranty Coverage

All new bikes purchased directly from www.moonbike.shop come with a limited manufacturer warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Coverage includes (but is not limited to):

  • Bike frame: 1–5 years (based on manufacturer’s specific coverage)

  • Electric motor and battery (for e-bikes): Typically 1 year

  • Suspension components: Typically 1 year

  • Mechanical components (brakes, gears, cranks, etc.): 6–12 months depending on brand

Please refer to the product page or contact us for brand-specific warranty durations. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer.


2. What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, chains, grips, etc.)

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or abuse

  • Improper assembly or maintenance

  • Modifications or use of non-approved parts or accessories

  • Damage caused by weather, corrosion, or exposure to the elements

  • Commercial or rental use

  • Labor or shipping costs for replacement or repair, unless covered by the brand


3. How to File a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, please email us at moonbike@gmail.com with the following:

  1. Order number and purchase date

  2. Description of the issue

  3. Clear photos or video showing the damage or defect

  4. Serial number (located on your bike frame or component, if available)

We will review your claim within 3–5 business days and coordinate with the manufacturer or brand to resolve the issue. If approved, the defective part may be:

  • Repaired locally

  • Replaced with a new or refurbished part

  • Replaced entirely (in rare cases)

Note: Customers may be responsible for return shipping or labor costs unless otherwise stated.


4. Manufacturer Warranty

Many of the products we sell are covered by individual manufacturer warranties. In such cases, we will facilitate your claim with the brand and assist you in getting the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

We recommend registering your bike with the manufacturer (if applicable) after purchase for faster warranty support.


5. Used & Final Sale Items

Used, demo, or clearance items are sold as-is and are not covered under warranty unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.


6. Warranty Transfers

Warranties apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.


7. Safety Notice

Always read and follow your bike’s manual and maintenance guidelines. Many warranty issues arise from improper assembly, insufficient maintenance, or off-label use. For your safety and to maintain warranty coverage:

  • Have your bike professionally assembled or inspected before riding

  • Regularly check and maintain tires, brakes, and drivetrain

  • Use only approved replacement parts and accessories
